Could anyone please verify the color of the base on which Commissioner Gordon's batphone sat upon underneath the glass cake topper in his office? When I look at various photos I see both black and brown? Thanks!!

Lighting and light temperatures in any given screen capture will give you a different read, even from Blu Ray sources.

My gut instinct from aggregating the various shots we see throughout the run of the show is that it was a darker brown color that leans towards green/grey.
