I'd be right up for a Green Hornet Kissin' Candy Mints playset.

That would be AWESOME...but there isn't a set of figures and car in this scale is there?

Kato & Green Hornet meet a custom Colonel Gumm and my Figures Toy Company "Batman '66" figures by Ian McLean, on Flickr

My Japanese "Mediacom Toy Corporation" Kato & the Green Hornet turned out to be 9" tall each, a little taller than expected (and advertised on eBay). Cannibalising a retro Mego-style Captain Pike (from "Star Trek"), I was able to make Kato more in scale with FTC's 8" Robin and 9" Green Hornet. Kato's head was swapped out onto Pike's body, the hands painted shiny black, the jacket sleeves slightly shortened with hemming web, and his tiny cuff buttons moved.

Ineresing custom work.

Years ago, I too bought the Medicom Green Hornet & Kato because it had been advertised as 8-inches in as many online stores as those saying they were scaled at 9 inches. Because they do not really mix with any other cloth costume figures (even Hasbro's DC Super Heroes Silver Age and the Marvel figures from Toy Biz's Famous Covers line of late 90s are actually not the 9 inches as advertised, but a bit taller). the GH & K are sort of a specialty item all to themselves.

Too bad its unlikely anyone will ever make a Hot Toys-styled '66 Green Hornet. I would order that without a moment's hesitation.

there's always a GH on ebay. and you can get the Kato Captain Action and put it on a Bruce Lee figure.

But it says they are 12", way out of scale for the playsets discussed in the thread.
