Slowly starting to look like an old friend!!! When I saw the bust in person, I was surprised just how good the piece actually looked. It was the first time I even thought about making one. The classical bones of this piece shine through the brutal editing.
From one bearded Brit to another, lookin' good 'Bill! ;)

I'm calling this done until I test fit it into the collar opening.
The folks that made the original may be great prop makers but they had no clue how to model beards!! Hilariously bad!!!

Yes, the original ones that were released & sold suffered from an ill-fitting collar opening.

The point of the chest piece stuck up about 3/8 ths of an inch too high.

It almost telegraphed that it was a separate piece!

I always wished it were more flush!

I'm sure you will see to that, Chuck! ;)

Actually, the original is raised there too. Knowing Chuck, he'll replicate the original design and it's wonkiness rather than the idealized mass produced product type of thing.

To me that's part of the charm. All these props were made to look good on camera, not so much in person.
I'd rather have a screen accurate prop with all the wonkiness and blemishes than a idealized prop

The original still doesn't look nearly as badly raised to me, as the sold one!

So a lot of folks have asked for a side by side with the commercially available bust.
Here ya go...

My bust sits completely flush. I must have gotten really lucky.
