That is beautiful work, Chuck. (And why wouldn't it be?)
I have a question though. Wouldn't it have been easier for the prop department to find an actual Shakespeare bust, rather than going through all the trouble of changing up the Schiller one?

A bust this size and quality is expensive. For a prop maker to copy and modify would have been less costly.

Especially when you know that you’re going to go full-Marie Antoinette on it...Chuck Williams wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 5:27 pm A bust this size and quality is expensive. For a prop maker to copy and modify would have been less costly.

Especially, Lou, if they didn't have "bread" to spend on an original Shakespeare bust...

I think I'm calling it done!
I used a red/brown primer just to get a fresh look and know better how it is reading.
Into the mold it goes!

Looks great! Can’t believe it took until 2020 for someone to do a serious reproduction of this.
