It looks like a variation of the 1989 Tim Burton Batmobile, but with 1966-style Barris red trim lines added to it which the 1989 version did not have being all black.

Does not look like a full size car, judging bu the other items in the photos. Could be a fiberglass model or a custom R/C model. Maybe a concept for a video game or a movie car. Don't know, just throwing things out there.

Some toy from Toy Biz or Kenner/Hasbro most likely...circa 1989-1999. Maybe from the animated series line who knows?

Interesting, I've never seen that car before.

Based on other objects in the picture I would say it is a full sized car or 3/4 scale at least. That white plastic object in the upper right hand corner is a baby gate resting on its side and you have figure that it is at least 24"- 30" tall (standard size for a baby gate). Then there is the wire shelving on casters at the lower right corner. I imagine that would be 18"- 24" high.

Can we get any more info on it? Where is it? How did you come across it? More clues! If it's 8 feet long, it sounds more like some kind of prop or display piece....

VERY cool, but in need of rescuing!

My husband got it sent to him by a mutual friend on FaceBook saying it was for sale. He asked a few questions but no reply yet. I was just hoping someone knew something about it before he got all excited and it was no big deal.

I just got this reply. It was used in a show in Vegas in a Batman scene. Built custom for the show.It goes up to 45mph and it it the size of a mini grand go cart, about 10ft long. The roof top is a slide roof that slides open for driver to get in and out.
