Toying with different 1/50 scale cars. The Mystery Machine is wrong in 1/50 scale, and maybe too big in the Jada scale, whatever that actually is.

Well that's another vendor that went under with the Covid Pandemic. I'm trying some others but I think its cheaper to buy a used aquarium. I'll have to see what all the fuss is about some Ikea shelving - if it doesn't have glass, then the dust magnet force will be strong in this one.

So I’m looking around for display boxes. I have 2 that can work, one will be car only with/without seated figures. The other has room to display figures next to the car.
The car is essentially 38”W x 14”D with the doors closed. Figures stand 12”H

Links are here
Smaller one
https://us.moducase.xyz/display-cube-si ... 71-h19-29/
43”W x 17”D x 19”H
Larger one
https://us.moducase.xyz/display-cube-df ... 3-6-h25-6/
47”W x 23”D x 25”H

$50 difference, plus available space in your cave

There will be a market for 3 backgrounds, IMHO.
1. Batcave interior
2. Gotham Skyline
3. Police HQ.

Any others you’d like to see?

Graphic artists, start your programs.

Wouldn’t an LCD panel rotating between various shots be cool? Sort of like that small LCD picture frame you bought for your relatives some years back

I’m going with the LED strip, soft white. Which one are you buying? There is a DFS110 that looks like it works, too.

By the way, the Atomic Pile will be 50 to 60” high in 1/6 scale (25 to 30’ high).

Larry, The Batcopter was purchased over a decade ago off eBay, I think. It is 1:48 scale, which is nearly 1:50 scale of the Batmobile and Batcave.

I'm considering the 4 soft white spot lights for mine. Im going to buy the bigger case for figures. Did you use these same cases for the Factory Entertainment Batcave? I dont have one for that.

The factory Entertainment Batcave enclosure was from an Ohio company that is now out of business, another Pandemic casualty.

Did anyone else in the US receive a Tax bill from Fed Ex for $54.35?

Looks like a duty tax.

That seems to be the norm for US buyers.

Sounds like your value was higher than the initial buyers

Just in case you thought the Batsignal was small in 1/6 scale

Wow, that’s big

Funnily enough, this is photo of the same guy that Lou just posted with the signal, but this is the photo i've been wanting to see for a while now, to give some real perspective on quite how big the Jazz Inc car really is!
