He’s delivered on everything they’ve proposed. He has licensing now, and the most knowledgeable Batmobile consultants have chimed in with their expertise.

Start at about 6:00 minute mark. He explains the delays and if you have ever followed the Batmobile forums, you’ll understand the “insert adjective here” desire for accuracy. The licensing is in place, and tooling is next.

It’s a lot of money, and it was risky 2 years ago when I paid for mine. This will be a grail item like one of Chuck’s cowls or Shakespeare bust.

But it is a risk. He could be hit by a bus, sued by a license seeker, etc. my fear initially was that Warner would bury him. My guess is Mark Racop May have helped with the licensing since he’s already run that gauntlet. Licensing is now in place.

But it is your money. He’s not ghosting people like some folks we’ve dealt with. Since he’s already delivered 2 other Batmobiles in this scale, there is some history. To be fair, these were variations on the same car, I do like the feedback from the designer of the 1:1 car, as he purchased a scale model of the Batmobile (BvS)

Also, the Star Wars community appears very satisfied with his dioramas.

Good luck with your decision.

Finally pulled the trigger on the Deluxe. It's just too good to pass up, especially before the price increase.

Well, I'm in too. Spreading the payments over 15 months will be a long wait, but this is a must have.

Congratulations to you both. I am kicking myself for selling off my spare hot toys B&R which I was holding out for the Hot Toys Batmobile. Now you know my ulterior motive for this thread. ( imagine twisting a Snidely Whiplash mustache )

They could swap Robin’s hands to hold the windshield….

Yes, a re-release would be terrific. The figures were never really ruggedly made, so I can imagine costume pulls and tears while placing them in and taking them out. It would be nice to have a second dedicated pair.

They should do it soon to propel more interest in the vehicle to in turn generate more interest in the figures, etc.

Definitely intrigued as to who the other brand are that he is talking to about producing the car in another scale...

If it’s 1/9 scale, I’m just speculating either Mego or maybe Neca. But probably Mego.

I spoke to Joost about 1/9 scale early on. He wanted to finish this first 1/6 scale then look at 1/9 scale.

He said he'd Have to create all new tooling, but since he’s doing 1/12 scale Batmobiles now, the possibility of 1/9 1966 Batmobile is strong. Start saving now, as it will not be significantly less expensive than the 1/6.

All those FTC models take on a new importance.

As for Hot Toys, it would be really fun to have Batgirl or Catwoman to pose in front of the Batmobile, in the style of an automobile magazine cover.

I got one of each from InnerCircleToys or something like that. One day more accurate heads will be available and I will upgrade them. The ToyRoom made the boxes for me.

Toy room does great boxes. I’d love to see pics. I just display mine loose.

What we need are better inserts for these boxes.
