Sears Batcave

Post by rsaffle »

I'm a guy that digs routinely thru the internet for Batman stuff and this was a new item to me.
Does anybody remember this? It says Sears exclusive.

It's a rare item not many remember. I never had one. Here is a color photo of a kid, Richie, with one (p.s. I had that exact sames Sears pj's batman set and batman shoes, I was wearing them Christmas eve and day 1966!!) and some other adverts so it might have started as a Sears exclusive, it was sold elsewhere.

Those pics are great! I would still want to slide into that. LOL
I noticed the bottom one says "Come charge it."

Charge $4.99....wow!

The front matches but Batman & Robin seem to have switched sides. Maybe they are interchangeable. Thanks for sharing.
Bat shoes? ;?)

Holy hide Out!
Wowie Zowie!!
What A find!
I would still hang out in that thing if it was available.
"Ours alone on Long island" - Gertz Toy Dept. was it only available there? also- smaller than Sears.
I would need a cave 6' x 6' x 6.5'

My brother had the Bat slippers.
How clever having a Box that kids love to play in peppered with Batman and Batcave graphics. I'm guessing very few survived, but what a fun item that was when you were young.
Some days you just can't get rid of a ... SHARK!
