Always loved the classics, Tyler had advanced arthritis and and died at the young age of 50 from scleroderma. He made a great Phantom and Captain Marvel.

I received my Batgirl and oxygen mask B&R.
Here is some Batgirl pics if anyone is interested. No it doesn't look like Yvonne, but that's ok with me. I'm happy to have a Batgirl in this line. I did not open B&R but I am happy to if anyone is interested in some pictures.

That Batgirl figure looks more like Leslie Grace the canceled Batgirl who has atrocious acting.

I’m absolutely delighted that McFarlane found a way to include Batgirl in the line rather than omit the character entirely. Of course we would all prefer Yvonne’s likeness, but this looks terrific. So many other companies would’ve just given up.

Plus we'll have all those other great villains and heroes that appeared in the 66 comic series.
Some days you just can't get rid of a ... SHARK!

I think that whatever the reason YC's likeness wasn't used, It's her estate's loss. Other than repainting the suit with a sparkle purple, it is a DARNED nice figure! I hope to get a couple; one for the TV suuit and one for the original comic book suit.

Cheers!

It's probably that I grew up with Mego being the closest thing we had to an Adam West Batman figure but Batgirl looks good to me. I don't care about having what looks like shrunk down versions of the real thing, I like Toys that look like toys. My all time favorite Batman figure is the Captain Action one, and that looks like a hybrid of a lot of versions of Batman to me.

Andy, the Captain Action Batman is a big favorite of mine too and seems to evoke the Dick Sprang Batman.

Do you know what date it was released on toy shelves?

Some of us were trying to decide which was the first Batman action figure the 4-in Marx Batman or the Captain Action Batman?

I've never owned a captain action figure but was always fascinated with the Batman one due to the sheer amount of accessories that came with it.

I've always considered Captain Action to be the first Batman action figure-- even though The Marx figure apparently was released first, it was an overseas item. CA made his debut in 1966 which coincided with the show and made the Batman figure very popular.
