BAD NEWS....Batcave order cancelled by Target
Some days you just can't get rid of a ... SHARK!

So after months of "approving new delivery dates" Target strikes again by canceling my batcave! I contacted them via chat and was told "Due to unfortunate circumstances we can not fulfill your order." What a poor excuse for a company!
Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
My Batcave was canceled too! The only thing I have seen from this line in the wild was the Batmobile which I passed on. I was able to do ship to store for the figures and picked them up today. They look much better in person!

Same for me. Perhaps they will show-up in Target stores?johndeblasi wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 11:23 am So after months of "approving new delivery dates" Target strikes again by canceling my batcave! My Batcave order was cancelled about a month ago after Target claimed that I failed to approve a delayed delivery, which I did approve. I've seen it "on pre-order" on a handful of probably disreputable overseas shops, mostly in Australia.
I did end up purchasing the Batmobile from someone on eBay. I know most of you have slagged it off in comparison to the Mattel version, but that one is out of my price range, and the McFarlane version will do just fine as a display piece along with my Mattel figures (and Robin bendable figure which comes closest, IMHO, to capturing Burt Ward's likeness).
It will be interesting to see how this Batcave drama plays out. Perhaps over the winter I'll just make my own Batcave. The Atomic Pile looks like it would be the most challenging to construct, but I think I can use cardboard and paper mache to come up with something more screen accurate than what McFarlane came up with.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
I preordered the Batmobile and received it, and found the three basic figs in store. Still hunting for the chase figs, and now of course the Batcave.
Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
...and despite my not caring too much for Batman, I found The Joker today and I must say that, in my opinion, it’s the best Cesar figure to date.
Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
The Batmobile was sold out online and it actually showed up in stores first! Maybe the Batcave will show up in stores.
Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
My preorder Batmobile came really fast, beat the stores. Ticked about the Cave, however. Didn't mind the delays, don't know why they resorted to a cancellation.

I got a delay notice from Target.com for their exclusive unmasked Batman (Adam West) figure. New release date Oct 16, 2021.

I got an extra Joker if someone has a Batman or Robin and wants to trade hit me up.

I found the 3 in my local store. I have seen 2 of the Batmobiles but just couldn't do it. I feel the Mattel one was better. I am a fan of these figures though.
