Does this person have photos? Although, since it was converted to a vehicle that could be driven on land, I’m guessing the interior may have had some major changes, including left hand drive. But maybe with the previous owner
(Floyd Crawley) may have pics?

Yay, although "Zing! Pop Cultcha" in Australia haven't had the Egghead of King Tut waves of figures (yet?), they do have preorders for the McFarlane Wayne Manor Library/Study and the Batboat!

I'm hoping this will include a glimpse at the '66 Comic Batgirl!

Oh man! Can you imagine?! The Batcopter, Mad Hatter, Bookworm and False Face... As much as I want this line to continue, that would be a final wave above and beyond anything I could have imagined when McFarlane got going on this.

I know, for me Mad Hatter is so important for 2 reasons, 1 he’s the last big comic book villain to do, and 2 we have Pink Cowl Batman. The Batcopter because it’s always been my second favorite Batman vehicle after the Batmobile, and it’s the last Bat vehicle we need.

As for Bookworm and False Face I like them both and I think Bookworm has a good chance happening. I’d also like to see Shame and wouldn’t be lying to say more comic book villains never on the series would be nice, especially Scarecrow and Poison Ivy.

You missed a cameo! Digital comic issue #6, "Chandell's Chanteuse", featured the same "The End???" caption as the final episode of the TV show (in which the caption was placed over Minerva's bottom). Continuing the visual gag in this comic was an appearance by the likenesses of actors, Michael Rennie (Sandman) and Zsa Zsa Gabor (Minerva), who twice played opposite each other in episodes of a 1950s TV series, "Climax!" ("The Great Impersonation" and "A Man of Taste").

Re: Bruce Wayne - law school grad?

Post by Barnabas Collins »

Noticed the McFarlane Toys Wayne Manor Library playset features a diploma on the wall showing Bruce Wayne is a graduate of a law school. Was this depicted in the '66 TV series? Was it routinely referenced in the Batman comics? I don't know the history. See pic below, with playset diploma (left) vs. one vintage comic I could find where a diploma is partially shown in one frame (right).
