What do you think?
Looks much better-- I'm not going to go to the bother of painting them but it's a shame McFarlane hadn't thought of checking color closer.

It's going to look like the bobbsie twins next to Eartha, which I still hate for being scaled to six feet tall.

So glad to have Catwoman (Julie) it’s funny they call it wave 4 SDCC exclusive, but her back packaging art says Wave 3. Leads me to think she was originally part of that wave but they decided to focus on Eartha instead.

Anyone heard anything about the rest of the rumored future products? I don't understand why anyone would want B&W TV variants. Am I missing something? The rest of the list sounds great.

- Catwoman Season 1 (SDCC, Gold Label) - available now at target.com (will SDCC gold label be an unmasked variant??)
- Batman (Black And White TV Variant)
- The Joker (Black And White TV Variant)
- Mr. Freeze (Otto Preminger)
- Batcycle With Side Car
- Batman '66 Villains Lair

I don’t get the b&w tv variants either. If it were Batman and Robin I’d be more interested but this line has made enough Joker and Riddler figures. I want that Batcycle and Villains Playset, and Mr. Freeze. Maybe McFarlane heard the lack of interest for the b&w figures and are readjusting the wave? Still hoping for King Tut and Egghead.

As someone else said, a lot of us grew up watching the show initially on BW TV's-- we didn't get a color set until around 1975 so the reruns I initially saw were BW. Doesn't make me nostalgic enough to want one, but since the blue color is off on the color version maybe the BW will be appealing. Strange choice for one of the biggest 60s shows pushing IN COLOR.

Its a cheap cash grab, assuming "everyone" had black and white TVs, so it was the only way to watch Batman, or that anyone who watched it on a B&W set would--for whatever reason--want B&W figures from a series they knew was as colorful as anyone could imagine.

I'm going to reserve judgement until we see them, but it certainly feels like a cash grab to me. That said, nobody forces us to buy any of this stuff.
