Got my Cave too. It's amazing that so many 66 Batman toys are at Target. Fun stuff. We waited a long time for this.

Think you can 3D print a Time Machine for us so our 8 year old selves can play with all this cool stuff?

My Batcave came in today, too (ship-to-store). Thanks, Target.com.

If I had a time machine I would send my adult self back in time to get all the great vintage toys like Megos, Corgis, Ideal playsets. Think about all the money I could save my adult self collecting all this stuff back. Lol
Those are the toys that pull at my heart and keep me coming back to this forum

Received my Batcave today. Bought it a few days ago from a third party. And after receiving it, I check Target's site and, of course, they now have these available for "ship to store" in Chicago. Oh, well. I have it now, and it looks fantastic in my display cabinet with my Mattel figures.

Has anyone customized/accurized their McFarlane Batmobile? If so, please show pictures. I really like this Batmobile, and understand McFarlane wanted to keep the Batman-66 line lower-priced toys, but it could use some TLC and detailing. I want to add-on a fire-flame plastic piece to the turbine exhaust. Hopefully, I can find something for this at Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

I have decided to customise the Bat-poles with metallic gold paint. I also found that slipping one-and-a-bit paper drinking straws over Batman's pole before painting, gives it a bigger circumference and more screen accurate.

Well Done old Chum!

Are you considering a landing pad at the base?

Do you have the Mattel Batcomputer? I'm wondering what that would look like in the McCave?

Were you able to pick up the Hallmark Batcave Ornament?

Robin loses his toupee

Post by Barnabas Collins »

I was watching a review of the McFarlane '66 Robin figure, and while the guy was demonstrating the articulation, Robin's hair/toupee came un-glued. Scroll ahead to 5:46. Who knew Robin came apart in that manner? No worries ole chum--a little glue, and he's back to normal.

I was able to renew mine. Likely the’ll cancel it next week. Saw the cave and 1Batman from a local Target. They are on opposite ends of the collector area.

If you’ve seen the ceramic Christmas trees with a small nightlight bulb in the base, they use plastic cone shaped bulbs that illuminate when the bulb is lit. These come in various sizes, I bought some for the 1/18 scale Batmobile and inserted it into the tail. You may find an LED light kit for that and adapt it to this car, with an LED to light up the flame. If you get really ambitious, you can create a Corgi type pulsating flame. The sky is the limit. Probably make it with a 3D printer. Might as well add a 3D printed Turbine too.

Who’s up for the challenge? Randy (rsaffle)?
