Figures for new Batman Captain Action Suit

Post by AndyFish » Thu Feb 21, 2013 7:39 am

Round II is making a 70s Batman suit-- and you can almost bet a '66 version too-- until those are released, if you need Cap figures to put them on Toys R Us is having a secret sale (they aren't marked down) to $14.99/ea-- you can take it over to the store scanner to confirm, sale only runs until March 9th. I picked up a few yesterday.

Nothing on line yet. Let's hope its not a store manager special.

In both my TRU stores it's no secret. Clearly marked, $14.99 down from their disgusting $29.99 price.

I will not however, buy any Captain Action figure until the back of the box shows DC characters, and even then I will not buy unless there's a 1966 West costume. This is why I'm on this board. Unlike many others here, I am not a Batman fan. I only like the Adam West Batman, and with the new merch coming out, I will never buy anything Batman that is non-West related.

So, until DC/WB is a for sure thing with the West costuming, no sale for me. No dis here to you CA fans (Scott's costume is awesome), but CA by himself is not of interest to me, nor is a 70's Batman with big ears.

I do not like any year of Batman but the Adam West era, including the 1939 early years. No appeal to me. I own no memorabilia that is not 1966 related. No dis to any Batman fan, just not my thing. Again, that's why I'm happy to be here instead of a "Batman" board. Oh, and just so there's no wonderment here, I am 50 years old and have been this way since 1966. I am into the MUSIC of the series, which is my main "thing."

There are lots of people here that feel this way "GL6." I'm not here to persude people into this way of thinking, I just like having fun here. I'm just thankful for this board. Years ago, David Sutton (the original creator of the board) and I used to talk on the phone about all things 66 and I have never looked back.

Again, others that like other eras of Batman is okay with me. I just don't get into other eras.

So,is there a good chance we will see a remake of the CA Batman from the 60's?

I agree with you as well John, no persuading just think the newer tuff like CA is silly. I was 6 when the original show came out and am just as thrilled with it today as I was then. For some of us, thats what we grew up with and it really made an impression. I didn't see the humor when I was young, I do now and enjoy it more. No disrespect to any of the other members or era's.
