Let me know which areas you need specifically and I’ll get them over to you.

Re: Hot Toys Batman need some reference photos
Thanks Ben.The areas I need are the upper back of the outfit under the cape, snaps or not? any markings on the body itself on the back under the outfit, the way the blue pants are secured in the back, the utility belt buckle, is it metal? and how it looks behind the buckle. I ask because I acquired a 12" Adam West Batman figure and can't find any web info on it. It clearly is factory made, looks like a Hot Toys outfit but different in someways. I'm hoping maybe a prototype of some sort. I want to see some reference photos first before I post it.

Interesting. I know Saturn Toys has one in the works but I don't think it's out yet.
Worth comparing yours to that one though.

John, you may have a Tony Moe outfit. Better get some reference shots of that too

You could reverse it AP and post photos of your figure here, I bet there's more than one member who could shed some light on it for you.

Here is the face of this 12" action figure. Any thoughts?

First the ears are not bent outward.

Yes the ears are different as is the face sculpt, different from Hot Toys, and I have seen most online Hot Toys photos. The belt is looks like Hot Toys so does the suit, the hands do not articulate at the wrist but the glove and hands are all one piece, the boots are different also. I'm still waiting for those detail photos I asked for so I can see if there are any similarities to HT construction. I have been unable to find this figure anywhere in my searches.
Re: Hot Toys Batman need some reference photos
Definitely not Hot Toys.
The head on your figure is cast-- the heads on Hot Toys are roto sculpted. I.e. no mold used.
I'd say you have a kitbashed custom figure on your hands.
Howard keeps all the Hot Toys prototypes, and to the best of my knowledge one has never come to market.

I agree with Mr Fish, I think you've got a custom kit-bash of a figure on your hands.A. Pennyworth wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 11:18 am Ok here is the rear, please check your Hot Toys and see if this is what it looks like? Thanks
Can we see a photo of the full figure?
The belt may well be a Hot Toys one or a repro of theirs, but judging by the waist of your figure, it does look like a Hot Toys body, hence the cut to make the belt smaller.
Here's the rear of the Hot Toys figure, as well as the belt, note the zipper, snaps and the actual hem on the trunks.
***UPDATED***
I'm looking for a higher res version, but this figure appears to have the same head sculpt as yours. Can you post a head to toe shot for comparison?
FYI, the same low-res version of image is being used on at least 4 scam shopping sites as the only image on listed purporting to sell the figure.
***UPDATED AGAIN...***
So I did some reverse image search researching and...
The actual image originated from a Worthpoint listing, which means the actual that it was sold via auction at some point since the year 2000.
This appears to be another listing for a figure with the same headsculpt as yours:
https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/ ... -468725610
I don't have a Worthpoint account, so I can't log in and find any additional details that are listed about the auction.
This is a separate archived auction for another figure with the same head sculpt:
https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/ ... -313920012
Interestingly, the figure BELOW's bodysuit and belt especially look more akin to Wes McCue/Classick Plastick. The buckle on the belt is identical to the one on my custom Wes figure. He would be a good person to show images of your figure to.

Re: Hot Toys Batman need some reference photos
Thanks for all the input! I did see some Worthpoint ones but missed these.
The body is marked Dragon Models LTD. I could not find this exact body type nor any Batman figure they produced. The bat sticker on the chest is shiny, the belt looks to be Hot Toys, that's why I asked for some detail on the HT belt. The boots (mine even have molded nail indents around the bottom of the heels and stitching around the soles) and gloves might look like the ones Ben posted with a different suit on it. I'm very happy with this, don't know why there aren't more like this around? I didn't buy HT Batman/Robin, had I know JazzInc was to make a 1:6th '66 I would have bought them when they came out. It's still a mystery who made this, it is high quality and looks manufactured, but hopefully someone will chime in with a maker?
