Unusual, large 30” 1966 Batmobile on eBay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/225445807763
Unusual. Maybe one of a kind? It’s a little rough, I’m sure someone on this board could do something with it and make it into a very nice display. It’s 2 1/2 feet long. Seller says that he bought it about 25 years ago.
Anyone know anything about it?

That is the Joemobile, a GIJoe convention exclusive from the 90’s. A few hundred were made. That one is done up nicely and a good fit for 1/9 to 1/8 scale figures, but a little tight for 1/6. Nice in any collection, and this one is nicely built.they shipped as a kit. That price is really good too. These were $125 new.

Thanks, Lou! Now I know what a Joemobile is.

James Desimone ran a GIJoe collectors club and would have special vehicles made for club events.

Awesome information and photos, John. I just found one of the magnetic models Batmobiles, as well, after seeing a couple on eBay. I had no idea they existed.
I’m sure this is all pretty much old news to most of you, but I appreciate your patience and sharing the knowledge and resources.

Very old, but brings back fond memories of pre-licensed era. Had one of the Magnetic models. Actually ordered a 1/16 scale from Italy, and it was “lost” in the Italian post. Have you seen the GDM Batmobiles? Your face will melt right off. In 1/43 scale, a Batmobile, a Futura show car, and a It started with a kiss” Futura. Then they issued a very limited run of 1/24 Batmobiles, two runs of 25. That’s a grail car…

First time I ever heard of a GDM Batmobile.
Saw a Clifford model on eBay. Looks rough and missing the beacon but seller says “perfect.”

Is it the GADM (Great American Dream Machines)? My son figured it out. Wow! Looks like they specialize in concept cars. There are two of the Lincoln Futura 1/43 scale models on eBay right now.

My GADM (Great American Dream Machines) 1:64 Futura and Batmobile. While I dont have them in the larger scale I do have photos somewhere!

Sorry about that - yes GADM - White Metal models out of the UK. They made some of the great GM showcars from the 1950's. I had all three, but sold them off to buy more bat goodies.
