I need to replace my Robin cape.

Post by njboywonder »

Hey.

It's been a long time since I've replaced any costume parts--and I'm terrible with research--and I need to replace my Robin cape. I remember bits and pieces of information but not enough.

I want a good reproduction--not something cheap from China, etc., but don't need something so screen accurate that it costs more than necessary for, for the most part, a single photo shoot.

I'd very much appreciate some direction/reminders.

FYI, all of my Riddler costumes (except mine) sold but I still have a very few shirts (See my avatar.) left if anyone is interested.

It's 45 minutes later and I'm flashing on Alex's mother being the source years ago. Is that still the case?

Thanks.

Williams Studio 2 would be the primo option. Alternatively you could source the fabric and have a seamstress make you one from the WS2 patterns that they sell?

If not, reaching out to Alex Zsolt like you mentioned would be the other avenue to explore.

Thanks, Ben.

I just assumed Chuck's was more than I needed, but I will look, thanks.

And I assume I can find Alex here so I'll search for him as well.

Can someone please give me Alex's ID here--or the associated website if there is one?

Thanks.

Alex's board handle is Robintheboywonder. Here's an 11-year-old message board thread in which he lists sources for his costume components. It includes a link to his mother's website, but its domain registration has expired.
