To the Batpoles display was enjoyed by everyone here in Connecticut at Terrificon last weekend. Even Dr. Frankenstein and The Bride got to flip the Instant Costume Change Lever !! Great working with Bob DeSimone who brought a magic touch to the many children who stopped by, especially this young Robin !

And the Instant Costume Change lever would be half way down the shaft... When designing a scene for a comicon , imagery is #1. Photo op for the public would prohibit lifts. People would be falling off or unable to climb up.
I always design and build in this order.
#1 Imagery " What you think you remember from the scene that stirs the emotion"
#2 Aesthetics Use parts/color that work to accomplish #1 from that time period
#3 Accuracy last within safety and available space.
