Made my own Batmobile for Halloween
I'll never be able to afford or mechanically maintain, engineer or build a real 1966 Batmobile so I did what I could with what I have. Transform my Black Dodge Challenger. Nor do I want to spend thousands of dollars for an authentic Batman 1966 suit and cowl so I did the best I could on my budget. Enjoy Batman fans. Now all I need is Robin
My big gripe is the Rubies Grand Heritage Batman costume is just so bad? The Catwoman and Batgirl costume is actually pretty decent though? I just don't get that? The name of the show is BATMAN you'd think his costume would be the best? I could be wrong but I think there were 2 version that were released so I dunno? I've seen the Rubies costume pried at over $100 and is just looks so awful in my opinion and so baggy so I built my own. I SHOULD have bought the Mattel clasic Batman cowl I saw years ago at Toys R Us but I thought $100 was pricey then and it's WAY more now. Considering how inexpensive and thrifty I am I think I did an decent tribute with my version?

Great job on both! You can still find the Ogawa rubber 66 Cowls on eBay for about $35 from time to time.

I think I've seen it on Amazon? The reviews were mixed but no longer available?

Re: Made my own Batmobile for Halloween
Is that a permanent glow up to the car?
Re: Made my own Batmobile for Halloween
Looking good, both the car and the costume

Looks perfect, is your car still looking in this style?

I'd love to keep it this way but I didn't. I made the logos but am thinking I can probably find a place online to make removable magnets so when I want to drive around as Bruce Wayne won't attract attention. The red stripes I used red electrical tape but fear if I left them on it would damage the paint so removed them but maybe there's a product 3M or some alternative? I basically used what I had laying around the house to transform but daily driver into a bat-mobile "ish" style car.
