First step in my Batman journey...
Received my cowl from Will today in the mail. Heading to the leather store Monday to start my utility belt from my template from Chuck. Here is a picture of my son wearing my cowl. Thanks to everyone on the 66Batman forum for all the information that's been posted. I couldn't have even thought about making a suit without reading the archives and using the past experiences of other "Batmen". Thanks!!
Jim

Ordered some fabric swatches for the trunks and gloves. Didn't make it to Tampa yesterday to the leather store. Maybe tomorrow, ordered the brass for my buckle. The hard part is waiting for the parts to get here...

Good luck with your build. You going to the Fanboy Expo in August to meet Adam West?

Very nice start to the costume! My costume started the same way, finding my cowl on Ebay. It took me about 3 years to finish my suit but it was all worth it when I wore it in public the very first time!
Best of luck!
