One horror story that may be myth or truth: the first wing nearly sank the boat. I don't know if there is a buoyancy test you can perform before you are overcome with a sinking feeling.

Best of luck.

Well im closer after talking too a few boat dealers in Tyler I found one that knew Frank Crawley and that he has passed away a few years ago ,,trying to track down his son . The man I talked with said he had seen the boat several times but dosent know who has it at this time. Also he claimed that the local Shirners witch Frank was a member, put the money up to buy and convert the boat to a car and that they may just may have it.
Also that the Lions club may know where it is ? Will keep on looking .....

Just curious if you ever completed your batboat. I will be launching mine this spring. It was a 2 year process for me.

Hi, I only started ripping out the interior of the boat. Had new seats made and started some sanding. Weather on the east coat no so good this winter!! I would love to pic your brain on how to start the top exterior of the boat. PM if you can. All the help would be much appreciated. Just a note: my Batboat will be a prop only,no engine..Just to tow around with my 66 Batmobile.
thanks again
