Chuck Williams Adam West bust
Ordered this from Chuck Last weekend and received it Friday. Painted it up and got it ready for the cowl I have yet to make.
Re: Chuck Williams Adam West bust
Thanks. I know the eyes aren't the greatest but I figure once the cowl is on there they won't be that noticeable.

Thanks Chuck that means a lot coming from you. When time permits I will get started on the cowl and will probably pick up a shell soon.
Re: Chuck Williams Adam West bust
That looks really great, Larry! Is that the bust done in rigid foam, or is it the resin?
Re: Chuck Williams Adam West bust
It's the rigid foam bust.

Chuck, I've always assumed Adam West's eyes were brown. What color is his eyes?

I'm not sure if you've ever answered this one, but where did you get the Adam West bust to begin with? That definitely looks like a young version of Adam.
Just curious..

Obviously new to the forum- that bust was sculpted and is available from master artisan Chuck Williams. See post directly above yours for store info...

Re: Chuck Williams Adam West bust
So it was sculpted by hand? No casting was done? If thats true thats a pretty good likeness...

Re: Chuck Williams Adam West bust
Hi MattNes,
Both actually. I had a damaged plaster casting from a low res scan of Adam from the 90's that was sent to me for repairs. See below.
Seems it went a couple of rounds with a bus driver and got chipped and banged up.
After repairing the cast I did a clay pour in the new mold and began the task of sculpting the younger version. Took a while but I got it to a fairly convincing "Adam in the 60's" look instead of "Adam in his 60's" look.
I called it "Youth-enizing" at the time.
Hope this answers your question!
All the best,
