Well guys I have made a lot more progress on the lower half of the AP nothing is ready for photos yet so there will be none in the post.
I am almost at the stage that worries me the most the knife switches and gauges! Sure wished I knew how to make those in a 3-D model program but the best I can do is scratch build. I want to make those parts look better than my previous attempts any advice from anyone on this would be appreciated. :D

Until next week same Bat Time same bat Channel
Oh and by the way for those who may not know it the 1966 Batman movie is on Netflix right now!

Wow! This is excellent work and craftsmanship! I can't wait to see the finished product.

You know, way back when I was a very young schnick watching the show my dad really set me up for one. He called me outside where he and his friends were sitting and asked me how Batman powered the Batcave. I said "Batman has an atomic pile in his Batcave." He said Batman should send Alfred out to get some Preparation H. They all laughed so hard. I didn't get it - at the time. ;)
"Hmmm... I don't like the twist this joke is taking. Let us away! Let us away!"

Well guys I have hit a snag on the project!
Although the above photos look great the lower half of the AP is too big!
The octagon sizes are too big this has been my most difficult part to get right I thought I had it but when I mocked up the roof panels and placed the lower half of the AP in place under the main part I realized I had not accounted for the large piping on the right side and the posts on the left side! There was no room for them at all. I am taking a break from working on it until I can sort things out I have not given up but just need a break you know come back with a fresh perspective.

Until then

Charles,

Walking away from a project will definitely give you the perspective you need.
Don't give up my friend.
Look forward to more progress pictures soon.

Working on a smaller version of the lower half of the AP.
I think I have the size right this time no pictures yet but will be posting some as soon as I get further along on this. I have mocked it up and placed it under the main part and it looks a lot better! :D
