Don't sweat it, you will be fine. I would definitely lower the nose line. It will look so much better. I actually took a tube of some Testors putty and filled in, then sanded the ripple above the nose. It took a few small applications, but after painting black and re painting the top nose line, I think you will be much happier with the end result. Good luck on your mod. Can't wait to see it finished. You'll do fine. I know it.

I've thought about peeling back the material and trimming the nose as well. It's a bit too bird beak for me.

I'm not that great a painter and after about four times I got the eyebrows applied to where I was okay with them.

For those who are interested in what the shell looks like. lol I'm planning to trim the nose down a bit. I've also thought about removing the felt in the face portion. Just gets a little too warm in Florida for it.
