It's always a bit random, but there are often Glinda and Uhura heads floating around eBay, too.

Of course, the "Classic TV Toys" website, which is connected to "Figures Toy Company", is an excellent source of cheap Mego-style character heads.

"3 Piece Special Deal Teenager Male Fully Painted Heads" for just $4.00 brought me Richie, Pottsie (see pic below) and Ralph heads. Three heads for just $US 4.00?

"Grandmother Fully Painted Head" gave me a Martha Kent head for my Ma Parker custom, for just $6.

My Clock King's head was a "Grey Hair with Mustache Fully Painted Head", aka Alfred Pennyworth.

That's exactly what I used, Larry.

I extended a bun in quickset putty and changed the hair from brown to grey. The glasses are now painted gold, having tried silver over a pair of red Bernadette Rostenkowski's glasses.

Latest custom: False Face, in his Chief O'Hara guise.

False Face challenges O'Haa and Gordon by Ian McLean, on Flickr

False Face's transparent mask is two thick applications of Araldite epoxy glue over a Ralph Malph "Happy Days" head, with highlights in white opaque Signo pen. I coloured Ralph's head red/orange to match one of the wigs FF wears in the episode. O'Hara says, "It's False Face, disguised as meself." Notice he's holding the O'Hara mask in his left hand. (That was how Batman deduced the imposter Commissioner Gordon in another scene.)

Hey Ian!
How about an 8" version of "Captain Action"? It's obvious You have the talent? Just DON'T call it "Captain Action". It's obvious You can do the masks, and the outfits. considering I live in a 1 bedroom apartment, I wouldn't mind an 8"er like that! Think about it, if You would, please?

Cheers,
Larry
