Robin welcomes Jericho and Terra by Ian McLean, on Flickr

"New Teen Titans" action figures of Jericho and Terra arrived today. These characters were still showing up as preorders when I paid for them online from Figures Toy Company - but, within days, they have actually arrived Down Under!

It's great when action figures from different toy companies have the same scale: NJ Croce's Egghead bendable, Mattel's Batgirl and Spinmaster's new Nightwing:

Nothing ground breaking here, except I have been trying to get this pose down for quite some time, thought I might share it.
I need a better background though.

Two Riddlers and Robin by Ian McLean, on Flickr

My new Riddler Unmasked (Frank Gorshin) and Robin (Burt Ward) action figures from McFarlane Toys, with my custom of the Riddler (John Astin), which uses Mattel's Frank Gorshin Riddler as a base.

Very nice, but looking at the figures I noticed the belts are different but on the show not really that different. Frank's looks to have been a thicker shiny wider painted leather belt with different ties on the back. Both have the peaked "crown" in the very front. John's looks to have been a thinner material, less wide, less gloss with a different tie back. Keep up with figure posing, great posts.

It's really tricky to say whether the width on the Gorshin/Astin belts is genuinely different, or if it's the proportions of the actors torsos. I'm not suggesting they're the same belt, but the Astin one could well have been cut against Frank's but just made a little longer. It appears to be different lacing on Astin's for sure.

Road testing the new wide-angle lens on my new iPhone 13 Pro with my trusty McFarlane figures and cave. Still need to pick up the Batmobile!

Pretty pleased with how these turned out! As always, click to enlarge.

Showndown at Vasquez Rocks: Batman and Robin vs Mr Freeze, Penguin, Two-Face and Riddler. Two-Face is my custom from a ReAction Captain Kirk (Star Trek's William Shatner). Shatner voiced Two-Face in the animated "Batman vs Two-Face".

Love those shots, Ben.
I am really digging your customs, and the way you mix and match the sets Theron.
Did you make that background?

Thanks! The Vasquez Rocks diorama came with the Big!Bang!Pow! action figures of The Big Bang Theory gang in their cosplay outfits from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Arch Criminals Wing by Ian McLean, on Flickr

Today I created the Arch Criminals Wing at Gotham Penitentiary. Funko and MezcoToyz action figures of Catwoman, Penguin, Joker, King Tut, Egghead and Riddler, just before they are freed by Dr Cassandra Spellcraft and Cabala (in The Entrancing Dr. Cassandra.) Egghead is my custom, made from ReAction spare parts.
