My new Hallmark Christmas ornament of the "Batman '66" Batcopter arrived yesterday! Here it is with Funko figures of Batgirl, Batman, Catwoman and Robin.

Nice, Ian, very Nice! Say, Buddy, I'm wanting to do a really decent 8" Batgirl and I'm wondering: short of "kitbashing" a body like Roberto Williams has done ( and He does some Dynamite bodies)are there any 8" female bodies that ate accurate out there that You know of?
Thanks, and Cheers,

Re: Toy Photography with 66 Batman Figures.
Well, if you're wanting a more accurate figure, have you considered maybe going for a slightly shorter stature? Yvonne Craig was much shorter than Batman. You'd have to adjust the purple suit a little, but I successfully shortened a 9" Kato outfit for an 8" body with a little iron-on hemming web. The "Lost" female action figures are rather nice and the Juliet really helped with my Dr Cassandra's shorter stature, esp. when next to my 8" custom Cabala (not to scale in the first pic).

Perhaps look into using the slightly friendlier Barbara Gordon face rather than the Batgirl? I was quite happy with the 8" FTC Batgirl, but I trimmed her red hair considerably and her hips needed some massaging to loosen them up so the thighs could be rotated.

Re: Toy Photography with 66 Batman Figures.
Thanks, Ian. I have not seen the "Lost" figures. My biggest problem IS the hip area in the Mego/FTC figures. They are very incorrect as far a human woman's hip/upper thigh area. I suppose that I'll have to hunt down the various figures that Roberto told me about and "Kitbash" some female figures. I just cannot seem to get past the inaccurate anatomy of the Mego/FTC figures. I do agree that the 66 Batgirl figure should be quite a bit shorter than the Batman figure. Oh well, for the moment I can always enjoy watching YOUR work, my Friend!!!!!!

Funko Terrific Trio by Ian McLean, on Flickr
My Eaglemoss Batgirl cycle has arrived - and with clever angles, the scale is almost perfect for the Funko figures to pose near.

Re: Toy Photography with 66 Batman Figures.
Although I see random RHPS figures around sometimes, complete sets of the characters at retail would be hard to find these days. Mine are a few years old now. I guess setting a search on eBay would warn you when they come up.
