Glove question
I've looked at pictures and I can't tell for sure.
Is the gauntlet and the back of the hand a single piece of fabric, or is the gauntlet attached to the glove?
Also, it looks like the gauntlet only has one seem, where the fins are attached. Is this correct, or is it two pieces of material?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Glove question
One piece of fabric , uncut for the back of hand and gauntlet.
Attached is the original pattern piece which gives you an idea of how it's made.

Re: Glove question
Chuck, that is great. Now just to make it work for a 3-year-old...

Re: Glove question
I'd love to go that route, but unfortunately, my little guy is very, very particular, and has an amazing eye for detail... Basically, he will be a headache for life, and I'm sure I'll love it.
Re: Glove question
Hi tmmello,
I apologize that the question isn't about gloves, but I don't know where else to put it: How did You make Your Son's boots, please?
Thanks,

Re: Glove question
If you go with these type of gloves for kids: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kid-Children-Ad ... 2341651c0e you may be able to just keep revising the gauntlet fabric as he grows.
There's also ladie's stretch evening gloves but I'm not sure how they would fit a child: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Below-the-Elbow ... 567b39d26c
Order 2 pair of these and use the 2nd pair to cut up for fins.
