Chuck,
Regarding placement location, would you say that's about 5" below the bottom of the collar?

Placement was constantly changing so I don't think can be nailed down to a single measurement.

Interesting post, Chuck,
I admit, I had never heard of the velvet collar. Any reason why they used a velvet collar 2nd season and not the 1st? Next ?: Was the velvet collar a stretch fabric that just overlaid onto the original collar, or did it replace the original leotard collar?
Thanks for Your time Chuck, and Jaqui sends Her Best to You and Lynne, as do I.

Re: Sticking Those Chest Emblems
It seems that at some time during the first season Adam complained about the standard leotard turtleneck as being irritating.
It looks like they simply cut the turtleneck off during the first season (see photo) but they replaced them for velvet in the second season.
AH, stardom!
I can only imagine that the third season numbers did not allow for such considerations so it was dropped to the standard turtleneck without being cut.

Well, what I ended up using is DUCK brand indoor carpet tape, in the green label, that I got at Menards. It actually has plenty of stick and did no damage to the tunic at all.

Krylon. Free instructions specific to the bat emblem here: http://bit.ly/batemblem
Re: Sticking Those Chest Emblems
I thought about using the Krylon stuff but I am unsure as to what is in that and if it would dis-color the tunic and / or ruin the emblem itself, so I steered clear of that. The indoor light traffic Duck brand carpet tape actually worked fantastic.

Gosh, no way I would recommend putting an emblem on tights in advance - the tights will stretch WAY too much when you put them on. You shouldn't put on an emblem until you're wearing the tights, so they're fully stretched.

Plus, sticking it on while looking in the mirror gives you the opportunity to ensure it's placed in the right spot.
