All wood construction with a metal style paint. The shelves are stainless steel sheets glued onto MDF. I am looking at having the trim done in metal but I think the cost may be prohibitive.Mark Racop wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2017 3:00 pm Awesome work! What are the strips used on the seams? Aluminum flat stock? Are they glued on? What did you use for the metal parts on the shelf?

I am getting ready to build more and will try to update the thread with some dimensions. I estimated the height by seeing what Adam West's height was and looking at stills to get an idea.
Re: Bat Computer on display at Terrificon Connecticut
I don't know for sure if this occurred with all props in the Batcave, but in case any of your estimated dimensions taken from scaps confuse you, keep in mind that sometimes equipment was elevated in height w/ blocks to bring them into frame on camera better.

Seeing these props up close... I cannot express enough how EXCITED fans were to stumble across them!!! So many pics were taken with people in front of the computer and the signal and I especially loved the faces of folks when they picked up the phone and ACTUALLY heard Comm Gordon speaking to them!!! LOL!!!!!
The details and working lights... this thing looked and felt like a real computer!
