I think these are great! I might even try some myself...! But as a side note, won't these fit just fine in the already established "toy photography with 1966 figures"?

Yes, but I was feeling guilty about being the lone participant in that thread these past few months, which was started by someone long before I joined the bbs. Other places I frequent, you aren't supposed to have three posts in a row.
