King Tut Headdress questions

Post by rsaffle »

I'm thinking about trying something new. Anybody attempt a Tut Headdress before? I can't find one done.

Any images or info would be appreciated. I'm looking into it now.

Billy was our resident King Tut, but he passed away many years ago. Can't find a picture of him in his costume, but I'm sure someone here will have one

There's footage of Billy in costume at Burbank 2006.

I did have these sitting around though. Not screen accurate but a whole lot of heart went into Billy's outfit.

Those are all great! Thank you again Pennyworth. You must have a massive photo collection!

Billy looks like he did a great job already. I wonder how he created his? My first look into it and im thinking the fabric with the gold stripes will be the most difficult part to match.

That's not Lee Kirkham. He never suited up as Adam.

Scott you are correct. My mistake. I have this thread saved from 2006 and saw the photo of Billy as Tut, it was posted by Lee Kirkham so I thought it was him in the photo suited up at Bats, however reading the first post in the thread, the photos were provided by "Rogman" and Lee just posted Rogman's images, I got confused and thought that was Lee. Thanks for correcting. (I edited the above post)

Yep. I remembered his name was Roger but couldn't remember his board name "Rogman." So glad you're on top of this stuff. :)

Finding the exact same fabric will be near impossible (unless you have it printed), finding something similar shouldn't be too difficult, I would think

Rogman is Roger Barrett, a great guy.

I'm looking forward to seeing your King Tut costume. It will be challenging, but fun, I'm sure.
