Colonel Gumm's Extra Consonants box prop

Post by rsaffle »

Col. Gumm's "Extra Consonants for Alphabet Soup"prop box. These whacky hand drawn letters are always hard to reproduce but 8 gave it a go. Printed it out on sticker paper and then gave it a clear vinyl overlay.

Batman 66 tv show
Season 2, Episode 52
"Batman's Satisfaction"

Colonel Gumm moves out of the Pink Chip Stamps Factory, taking its owner Pinky Pinkston along as a hostage. A message hidden by Miss Pinkston in a bowl of alphabet soup directs Batman and Robin to the International Stamp Exhibition. Gumm is obsessed with Alphabet soup and stamps.

I would be tempted to print it out and glue it to an empty cereal box and put it in the pantry for my wife to find. She wouldn't get the Batman reference, but it would be darn funny - I hope!

That is absolutely brilliant. Never ever ever did I think someone would reproduce that prop.

That's the fun in it! I love the oddball stuff and they add color to the modeled ones.
