This one has been in the making for a while, but thanks to Randy I was able to finish it.
I had the van - a Buddy L truck - painted and done for about 2 years now, but I could never get the artwork quite right. I've tried a couple of times, but the quality just wasn't there. In comes Randy and BAM, van done. So this is every bit his work (if not more cause the artwork makes the prop) as it is mine.
Obviously I don't have a real Batmobile, but my Marx Batmobile was good enough for the comparison shot

Thanks Meule. That looks perfect! You have quite the collection going my friend and I'm happy to help out. I like your photo imitating the scene too.

Great job to you both! And like the original prop, the sign is only on one side.

Holy Shrinkage! Great diecast. could easily pass for the real prop, the graphics by Randy, he just outdoes himself every time! Fantastic! and outstanding scene recreation with the blurred vintage Marx ride-on bat in the background.

Looking at the scene, the van and the small toy truck both have a small sign on the other side, no graphics, just all blue. Looks great the way you made it, but if you're a perfectionist and want it to be exacting......

Seriously, that is a weird little panel. I wonder if they didn't mean for it to be shown that way and to just imply it had signs on both sides?

Re: Let Gayfellow take you to the cleaners
Making two full panels for the big van would cost a lot more, so I get why they made that small panel, after all it's - like Randy said - merely there to give the illusion there were signs on both sides. But on the toy van it'd be just as easy to make two signs in stead of one. Obviously there is a panel on the other side of the toy van, as shown by A.Pennyworths pic, so my guess is the panel is at least the same size, either with or without graphics. I did mine with full panels and graphics on both sides.
