Just wrapping up some odds and ends.

Used the chrome pen on the beacon and the red paint on the arch side lights. Also the Bat Turn handle got some love.

1st pass at fixed flame
The opening is 1/2” so I need a bigger bulb. This is about 8mm (vs 12.5mm opening)

This picture reminded me the rear was not finished
I just did some more to the rear turbine.
The rear lip is red, and the space between the fins and the body is black

That's the kind of add-on flame piece I want for my McFarlane Batmobile. I've looked at various hobby/craft shops and no success yet.

You would need to sculpt it, make a mold, the pour in a clear compound, maybe dye it wit a drop or two of red/orange, harden it, and pop it out of the mold

The real modeling/sculpting folks can do this pretty easily. People like me need to repurpose stuff.
One idea is to take a bulb like this as a starting point and ...

Just screw it in

Hi. Saw this video on youtube where a guy added a Lego flame piece onto his The Batman Batmobile (2022). Not sure of the size of this diecast toy, but it might work for the McFarlane Batmobile. The Lego flame piece is available on ebay. One listing said the piece is 2.5". One seller had it for $1.49 (plus shipping) and another ten pieces for $5 (plus shipping).

The challenge is the 12 mm or 1/2” exhaust diameter. That flame looks awesome

Here’s another option

I ordered both the LEGO version and the long flame. https://www.ebay.com/itm/164966048405

The dot is great if you have a kid, because you can scale it to fit in the hole.

I need to clean this up a bit, but more show accurate with the red ring.
