Aunt Harriet Logo design

Post by rsaffle »

I saw someone online do a very stylized cartoon version of this and thought I would design one a little more authentic looking. At least as authentic
as it can be. I like the blue hair. Probably make myself a t-shirt or magnet with it or such.

Poor Aunt Harrriet doesn't get enough love.

Interesting logo. Personally, I hope Wertham is STILL burning in that toasty place. Poor Aunt Harriet deserved better than what the script writers gave Her. May the actress rest in peace as She seemed to be a sweet lady.

Your comment sent me down the internet rabbit hole to learn more about Wertham. Very interesting. I was unaware of his direct connection to Aunt Harriet. This is what I found if anybody wants to read about it.

I'm glad that I could be of help. It's a fascinating story, Sad, bit fascinating. Something most folks today might not remember is that during the period where Bruce and Dick shared a bed, a lot of folks did that. Heck, I can remember sharing a bed for years with my brother, Kent. It just wasn't a big deal back then. Most boys would not have thought twice about it at the time. But then 20 or so years later, I had to build a wall to split our second bedroom into 2 bedrooms so my 2 boys would have a bedroom (( more like a closet) each..."for privacy". Pretty sad, imho.
