Adam West Batman 1/6 Resin Figure

Post by hannibal8 »

This is a painting commission that was completed recently. The owner painted the base &
someone else reposed the head from the original pose- I did the rest of the painting. I don't
know who sculpted the kit originally. The belt buckle is etched brass.

Very nice painting. The sculptor had originally posed the head up but then changed it so people "would not look up his nostrils" on the shelf. I thought upwards was still better but he would not change it. Yours is the better pose.

I liked the original pose better, but that is an awesome paint job. Wish I could paint like that; it would make model-making a lot more fun for me that it has been, historically.

Very nice interpretation! Love the notion of using an actual brass buckle too!

Amazing work ! The skin tone and eyes are very lifelike and the satin effect looks great. One of the best West likenesses I have ever seen..........great job.

That is very well done. Koma produced the Wm Paquet sculpt IIRC.

Did you also fix the pouches ? The original sculpt matches the early belt - opening from the top.

What colors did you use for the cape and tights?

Thanks very much for the comments!

I didn't do anything to the belt pouches other than painting them-
so if something was changed it was before I received the figure.

The color of the tights is Vallejo Sky Grey and the cape (etc.) is
Auto-Air Colors Metallic Midnight Blue.
