Pleased to hear there's some positive news on the Green Hornet. When the 1966 team finally settled on a mask design it did look somewhat Spirit-esque... only in midnight green.

I agree it looks like fun.
I've yet to see a version of THE SPIRIT that even came close to prime Eisner, and I don't think I've ever seen a really good take on the Green Hornet (haven't read the '66 crossover with Batman all the way through yet-- but found the first part of it very silly).

The Darwyn Cooke run on the Spirit for DC was pretty good and did manage to capture the flavor IMO.

I am so looking forward to this series,I like both the Green Hornet and The Spirit,if Bob Q can capture the flair of both heroes in his art and the stories by Fred Van Lente don't get too cartoonish,then it should be a hit. I know I'll be picking up a copy of #1 when it hits!
