Autographed Williams & Lee Photo on auction

Post by rsaffle »

I found this auction going on with a very cool photo that I have never seen before so I thought I would share. Bruce Lees autograph doesn't come cheap.
A little Photoshoping could make this say Randy pretty easy. lol

Scarce Bruce Lee Signed 8'' x 10'' Photo From ''The Green Hornet'', Also Signed by Van Williams -- With a Bold Signature by Lee, Who Signs in Both English and With His Chinese Dragon Symbol

What fabulous penmanship.
Such wonderfully straight lines.
Any idea what Bruce has dawn under his signature?

It says it is Bruce's Chinese Dragon Symbol. I read according to the Chinese zodiac, Lee was born in both the hour and the year of the Dragon.

Great photo that. For me it really captures how the characters should be portrayed.

The price seems somewhat on the steep side however, I daresay we shall see. Apparently Van Williams and Bruce Lee did attend autograph sessions around that time so maybe some more will emerge. Maybe not...

I di have a little go with photoshop earlier today and it was relatively easy to turn 'Mandy' in to 'Mark' 8-)

Same here. I love the 1940s style of publicity shot in an era where that was no longer the norm.

Wow, I wish I had that kinda money to throw at my collection. That sold for more than most one of a kind props do.
