'66 Gas Gun paint scheme
I need some opinions before I paint my '66 Gas Gun prop. I see on various sites that there was 3 basic paint schemes used for the TV show gun. What color combination would be your pick to best represent the show?
All Green? 2 tone Green? All Silver? Silver with Green Grip?
My favorite is Black handle with Green top and barrel but I don't see it represented that way very much.
This original prop is what I based my version on.

Here's mine, in the green and black (which I prefer). Mine is signed by Van, as is the mask pictured.

Black handle and hunter green for the body color scheme has been my preference.
Re: '66 Gas Gun paint scheme
I did use a "silver rub" on the metal parts of the gun to give it a more realistic look, and textured black paint for the handle.

Black and green immediately comes to mind when I think of Green Hornet props

I agree with the black and green! Your collection and display looks fantastic!!!! I'm jealous. Who made your gun? You repainted it yourself? Have you shown your collection on previous posts? I would love to see more.

I painted it, can not remember where I snagged the cast (it was unpainted resin).
I have a slew of stuff- was going to sell it off about a year or so ago, but had second thoughts. I'll have to take some pix. There is one shot on a recent thread about the Batphone bank Ben started a day or so ago.
Here's a couple I found on my FB page-

Well, now I want to buy all your props, so I guess I'm stuck with my stuff.

Just went down to my Batcave and snapped some pix- have even more stuff in closets and boxes, still working on getting my cabinets lit...

Always a kick to see your collection! (Guitars and Batman are where my heart lays, too!)

Sorry, I've been out of town. Your collection is great! I want those Ideal hand puppets and several of the other items you have,
Question, what is the Batman cowl in plastic bottom shelf right of Beetlejuice? Is that the latex cowl? Also where did you get that Joker belt?
