I'm Writing a Green Hornet Novel...and I Have Questions
I'm about halfway through writing an official Green Hornet '66 novel for Moonstone Books (same publisher I did my Kolchak novel for), and I have two questions for the GH thinktank here:
- Has anybody anywhere ever drawn up a floorplan/layout for the Daily Sentinel newsroom/Britt's office? It's not always easy to see exactly how it's laid out when watching episodes, and I have some major acts in the story that take place in and around it.
- Was it ever said in the show what floor the newsroom/Britt's office were on in the DS building?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a bucket list project for me, maybe the next best thing to writing an official Batman '66 novel
Jim!

I dont think we ever did a floor plan for the Daily Sentinel or Britts office. I do have a question about the lobby's big earth globe. Was this just a prop in a sound stage or in an actual building used for filming? was this globe used in other tv or movies? just wondering.

Hey, thanks for replying and for the stills! I guess the newsroom is on a different floor than Britt's office? And does this mean his office is on the first floor?A. Ok in "Programmed for Death" the city room, Britts office, and the tv studio is on the 8th floor as seen on the elevator floor indicator and stated by Casey. As seen with the eye of the camera, the city room is to the left of Britt's office with the TV studio's window to the right side of the office behind a green curtain. The elevator entrance has the arch above to the left seen thru the windows from Britts desk. The door from the city room enters to Casey desk area, then the door to britt's office is at a right angle to that door. Casey's desk is there behind the opening door to the City Room. The elevator is to the left of the globe, and the lobby (not the ground floor) I meant is the lobby of that floor, now we know it's the 8th. Hppe this helps.

So, my next big question is: Has anyone ever done a floorplan/layout of the Black Beauty's garage?

Here are a couple of links on thecaveboard where this topic was brought up. One thread is extensive on Britt's townhouse, 7 pages of discussion and photos and great floor plans by "MarvLS". The first link the floor plans were created by "vanfan" Scroll through and see if your answers are there.

This was a lot of fun to revisit! I remember lurking those floorplans, a ton of fan-work there! Love it!A.
