Antique Store Find!

Post by GMartin58 »

Just found this copy of Jimmy Dale and the Blue Envelope Murder! Can't wait to ready it! Interested that Trendle handed Stryker a copy of a Jimmy Dale book as a guide for the GH!

You never know what you will find when you step into an antique shop. Surprise!!

It is said that the character of Jimmie Dale was one of the big influences on all the two fisted crime fighting masked heroes that came after him. Michael Howard has written a new Jimmie Dale story that was published in 2017. You can find the 2017 story book on Amazon. There was a 1917 Jimmie Dale silent film, but there is no trace of it on any web site. Here are the links to the 1917 Jimmie Dale silent movie info page, and the pulp web site info page about this character.

I've had my eyes open for one of the original books that Trendle gave to Stryker to use as a model for the Hornet. I was pretty excited about finding it.
