Hornet Mask

Hi Gang...Does anyone have any idea what Van's original GH mask was made out of? I know there were several variations. I'm just curious what might have been used back in 1966.

I think it was posted in one of the discussion threads here. From what I remember they made life casts of Van and Bruce Lee, then made the masks out of fiberglass.
