1/6 and 1/9 scale ‘66 GH and Kato head sculpts on eBay

Post by BiffPow »

Saw these 3D resin head sculpts on eBay. You would never find them if you were looking for “Green Hornet” or “Kato.” Includes a gas gun.

There is a photo of an actual set (unpainted), if you scroll past the 3-D rendering illustrations.

Seller has 100% satisfaction and over 1800 rating.

Shared them with a friend of mine who is a big fan of the show and very skeptical of 3-D renderings but, on seeing the photo, decided to order. Price is quite reasonable ($30, including the gas gun).

Thought I would share. Photos are from his listing.

His other listings are interesting. The names are sometimes hilarious. (E.g: Jonathan Frid/Barnabas Collins sculpt is called “Low Budget Vampire”). There are various Batman head sculpts as well. One Mego style is called “slightly unnerving man.”🤣

Classic Tv Toys are a solid company - I’ve seen some of their stuff in person and it looks better than it photographs. From what I can tell, these heads are as good the paint job that they get given by the buyer.

Mike M and I bought some custom serial heads from this guy, or at least I've definitely bought something from him- might be the low budget vampire-- and while I would recommend against classictvtoys because they fall apart I've used them with the modern Mego bodies and they're top notch.

Ben is right though, if you don't have painting skills your mileage will vary. Just remember they always paint better if you prime them.

Fortunately, my friend is good at detail work and painting. His models look like the real thing in photographs.
