Oh no. Sad. Thank you Stan for all you did and for giving us Spider-Man and The Fantastic Four. Two of my all time favotites.

RIP.

My wife sent me this news while at work this afternoon. So sad and heartbroken. There will never ever be another one like him. Spider-Man was my next favorite behind Batman and Superman. He has bought joy to millions of fans worldwide and he will be missed. My condolences go out to his immediate family and all of the fans everywhere.
Rest In Peace Stan. This one really sucks too. Thank you for such great memories.

I wasn't born until the 1970s, but I still loved his run on Spider-Man with Steve Ditko and Fantastic Four with Jack Kirby.

Mr. Lee co-created many of my favorite characters and left a great legacy. Thanks for all the entertainment, Mr. Lee. May you rest in peace.

I find you to be odious, abhorrent and insegrevious.

Where would we be without Stan Lee and the 1966 Batman series. How many talented artists, writers, directors, etc were influenced by these two icons. Not bad for an art director...

I had a chance to read an essential Spidey book that covered issues from about 60 to 94. It was 4 years in real time, maybe a couple of months in comic book time. Stan was the primary writer. The story is so consistent and tight you would not believe it took 4 years. Wow!
Some days you just can't get rid of a ... SHARK!
