RIO: Lost 1961 Adam West Pilot!

Wow. Great find!
I can't find any info on the "Rio" cast beyond what's mentioned in the eBay listing, but one of the stills looks to me like it features Adam with Susan Silo, who played Riddler moll Mousey.

Resurrecting this old thread as the "Rio" pilot is now on YouTube.

Adam is paired with James Best, both impossibly young and handsome. Looks like it was designed as a "buddy adventure" show in the mood of "Route 66" or " The Persuaders. "
With two charming leads, a glamorous locale and the scripting talents of the legendary Roy Huggins, you'd think it might've sold. But then if it had, I guess we might not be here on this board...

"You were right again, Batman. We might have been killed."
"Or worse. Let's go..."
