Great article Dan.
Listened to a few of the casts re: the Filmation series and your love with John for Simon the Pieman is evident. Definitely worthy of being a 66 villain.

Thoughts on Sweet Tooth, Electro, the Moonman and the Judge too?

The Simon The Pieman with Charlotte Rousse episodes were interesting. I recall some writing on a cake or something that read, “in praise of evil”. Dang! That’s kinda out there for a kids cartoon! Their victory dance was insane where Charlotte was banging the pans. Actually, Charlotte looked pretty spooky...what was she, a Russian spy or something?

That series fascinates me because I faintly recall seeing it when I was 4 and haven’t seen it again until just recently. I am a grown man and have no shame in watching cartoons, ha ha!
