I just watched the on-set video of Phoenix’s Joker in the subway. His clothing is very close to the classic comic look.

Even though I’ve grown more than a little weary of the overbearingly dark takes on Batman, I’m intrigued by the talent involved with this film.

Looks scary, creepy and cool! Although it looks like they are doing an origin story and the Joker is one of the few characters better off without one.
He flies and fights-BATMAN!
Purity and virtue-BATMAN!
Cowards run away!
Batman saves the day!
Also, Boy Wonder Robin.
Batman and Robin-caped crusaders at night!
BIFF! POW! BAM! BATMAN!

All I can say after seeing the teaser is "OMG!!!!!!, They have GOT to be kidding!!!!!!!!!!" To quote Luke Skywalker in SW A New Hope "What a piece of J___!" I don't like to prejudge, but DANG!!!!!!
