Mattel has lost the DC license to Spin Master in 2020
Maybe some new 66 Batman merch will appear?

Re: Mattel has lost the DC license to Spin Master in 2020
As I posted in this thread (viewtopic.php?p=65724#p65724) on 12/28/18 it’s not entirely clear (at least me me) what all is leaving Mattel and what they are retaining.
From the press release it states “Toronto-based Spin Master Corp. will be the new licensee for DC in the boys’ action category, remote control and robotic vehicles, water toys, and games and puzzles. Mattel will keep some of its licensing rights, including for preschool and girls’ toys”
Question is, besides the pre-school and girls’ toys, what other rights are they keeping? I’m curious about the Hot Wheels Batmobiles, especially the Classic 1966 Batmobile.

I doubt we will see much '66 bat-realated merchandise besides the car...but I can dream?

They are famous for Bakugan Battle Brawler pods. If you've never seen one in action, take a look at this YouTube video. The Battle pods are magnetically activated. My son was into them from 2006-2009.

This could be good or this could be bad. I'm in the 'wait and see' mode.
"Hmmm... I don't like the twist this joke is taking. Let us away! Let us away!"

McFarlane Toys, an award-winning toy company, announced recently they have entered into a three-year global licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Here is the announcement.
