I like my comics for escapism, so I'm glad that Robbins didn't delve into politics too much. If there is going to be a politician I would rather it just be a crook (which most of them are, regardless of party. That said there may be good people on both sides of the aisle, too) with no mention of their actual affiliation.

This was another issue that I thought, like One Bullet Too Many, was an experiment to see if the comic should focus more on Bruce and less on Batman. As you pointed out, huge mistake. We readers want to see Batman, especially as drawn by the great Novick/Giordano team.
